All blades are made from AISI420H stainless steel (C 0.45 / C 0.55 CS 12/14%) (Hardness 52/54 HRC) which is a high carbon blade steel with good edge retention.

All springs are made from AISI420 stainless steel (C 0.30 / C 0.40 CR 12/14%) (Hardness 50/52 HRC) which gives the spring good flexibility and long life.

All parts are assembled and finished by hand using their skilled craftsmen/women in our factory at Parkway Close, Sheffield, S9 4WJ, England.
