Traditional water stone — use with water, not oil
Ideal for full knife maintenance: repair → sharpen → polish
What Each Side Does
Grey – #220 Grit (Coarse)
Removes chips, reshapes the edge, fixes damage.
Brown – #1000 Grit (Medium)
Sharpens and builds a strong, everyday cutting edge.
White – 8000+ Grit (Finishing)
Polishes to a razor-sharp, mirror-smooth finish.
This rare three-sided natural Japanese whetstone, crafted in Japan, combines coarse, medium, and ultra-fine grits into one compact block. Made from authentic Tennen Toishi natural stone, it offers a complete sharpening system that allows you to repair, sharpen, and polish your knives using traditional Japanese methods — all with a single, space-saving tool.
How to Use
Wet the stone with water (no oil needed, no soaking needed).
Start on the grey #220 side to repair or reshape the edge.
Move to the brown #1000 side to sharpen the blade.
Finish on the white 8000+ side to polish to a razor edge.
