The Yui Ryuga Red Chopsticks are part of the Yui collection, a range inspired by the bonds and connections shared between family and friends. The Japanese character Yui represents connection and bringing people together, reflecting the simple pleasure of sitting around the table and sharing a meal with those closest to you.

Ryuga can be translated as “flowing elegance”, a name reflected in the distinctive textured design. Fine, uneven rings of deep black run along the whole chopstick, creating a layered appearance inspired by the natural textures found in stone and rock shaped over time by water.

The raised detailing isn't only decorative. It also adds texture to the handle, helping create a comfortable and secure hold during use. The tips feature an anti-slip finish and a squared shape, making it easier to pick up noodles, smaller ingredients and slippery foods.

Handmade in Obama City, Japan, these 21cm chopsticks are made from wood and finished with a polyester coating. They are also dishwasher safe, bringing together distinctive Japanese design and practical features for everyday dining.
