Murasakura can be translated to “mottled cherry blossoms” or “patches of cherry blossoms”. The design reflects the natural, uneven appearance of blossoms scattered across a landscape or petals moving gently through the spring breeze.

The set includes two pairs of wooden chopsticks in different sizes and colours. The longer 22.5cm pair features blue cherry blossom detailing, while the 21cm pair is decorated with pink cherry blossoms. The upper handles have a soft, uneven gradient effect, giving the design a natural appearance rather than a perfectly uniform finish.

The wooden chopsticks are finished with a polyester coating and are dishwasher safe. The natural shell rests are more delicate and should only be washed by hand. Handmade in Obama City, Japan, the complete set is presented in a traditional Kiri-bako wooden gift box measuring 12 × 26 × 2.3cm.
