Handmade in Japan, this compact folding knife is fitted with a 70mm three-layer Aogami 2 (Blue Paper Steel) blade, offering exceptional sharpness, impressive edge retention, and a refined cutting experience. The blade features a hard Aogami 2 steel core clad with two outer layers of softer iron, combining the outstanding cutting performance of high-carbon steel with added strength and resilience. With a hardness of approximately 59 HRC and a double bevel edge, the knife delivers precise, controlled cutting for a wide variety of everyday tasks.

The distinctive stainless-steel handle is finished in a special silver lacquer with delicate gold speckling. It opens using the traditional Chikiri lever and incorporates a simple thumb safety that helps prevent accidental closure during use, while retaining the classic design of a non-locking friction folder.

As the blade is crafted from high-carbon Aogami steel, it is not stainless and should be cleaned, dried, and lightly oiled after use to help maintain its performance and appearance. Camellia oil is recommended for long-term care.
