The Masahiro MH-906 is labelled as a utility boning knife, but it has an oriental shape more in common with a Japanese Deba knife. The blade is very flat with no bend, instead a diagonal taper towards the tip of the blade. This is quite an unusual shape and really makes the knife only suitable for filleting and other boning work.
