The blades on the Silver Titan knives are made by undergoing a process called sintering, a process where different materials fuse together under extremely high heat. The blades of the Silver Titan contain ceramic, titanium and silver. The intention is to get the benefits of a ceramic knife on a steel blade. The Silver gives the knife antibacterial properties, which make the knives very hygienic. The Ceramic gives the blade is inert properties, it will not add to the taste of the food. The Titanium gives the knife its metallic properties and allows the knife to be sharpened with a good edge. These knives feel very light and easy to use and are practical for a range of kitchen tasks. Dishwasher Safe Knives should be stored in a block or other protective case to protect the blades and always kept out of reach of children. Knives cannot be sold to any person under the age of 18. When you place an order with us, you are confirming that you are 18 or older. Sometimes we may ask for proof of identification.
