The brand pays homage to Kanetsugu Naoe, an iconic swordsmith from Japan's late Muromachi era. The knives created by Seki Kanetsugu originate in Seki, a city with an illustrious blade-making legacy spanning more than 700 years. With a legacy of over 170 years, Kanetsugu has expertly honed the craft of fashioning samurai swords. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Samurai sword, the distinct "Hamaguri" blade design enables effortless precision in straight cuts.
