Seki Magoroku Redwood is a series of chef’s knives with a robust stainless steel quality and typically Japanese features. With its highly polished blades, the series includes both single-edged and double-edged blades that share the common denominators of stable and well-balanced functionality as well as sharpness. The design combines a minimalist shape with traditional Japanese aesthetics. The name stems from the redwood timber used to make the inserted handle. This hardwood has a naturally high oil content and is particularly moisture resistant.
The Nakiri is a Japanese style vegetable knife. It has a really straight blade so that you can cut down to the board without having to make a horizontal slicing action. This knife is perfect for cutting up vegetables.
