Kasumi Hammered 13cm Santoku Knife works as a small multi purpose knife but particularly makes for a good small vegetable knife.
The hammered pattern on the blades is the result of hot forging by hitting the blade repeatedly with a 300 ton flection machine. The unever hammer design prevents food from sticking to the surface of the blade. Kasumi hammered knives feature an inner core of VG-10 stainless steel with an outer layer of SUS410 stainless steel. The core of Kasumi is hardened to over 60 HRC. The handles are made from POM material, ergonomically shaped to the hand.
