 SM-72009 - 9cm Pairing Knife: A little paring knife in the Kasumi Damascus range. It is the smallest knife with just a 8cm blade and is useful for little kitchen tasks such as peeling, cutting and making food art.

 SM-72012 - 2cm Utility Knife: A good small knife from Kasumi. As a utility knife it can really be used for any purpose, but it has quite a thin narrow blade making it good for filleting small fish or just cutting up bits of fruit in the kitchen. Not for heavier work such as deboning chicken or chopping vegetables, it is good to accompany a larger chef's knife.

 SM-78020 - 20cm Chef's Knife: Kasumi produce their standard chef knife in 20cm and 24cm sizes. The SM-88020 is the 20cm version and is the lead knife in the series. As a chef's knife it can be used for a variety of kitchen tasks, such as slicing, cutting and chopping and is very much the go to knife in the series. If you are looking for one good Kasumi knife, go for the 20cm chef's knife. The larger size the SM-88024 is 24cm is more suitable for professional chefs and is quite big.

 The hammered pattern on the blades is the result of hot forging by hitting the blade repeatedly with a 300 ton flection machine. The unever hammer design prevents food from sticking to the surface of the blade. Kasumi hammered knives feature an inner core of VG-10 stainless steel with an outer layer of SUS410 stainless steel. The core of Kasumi is hardened to over 60 HRC. The handles are made from POM material, ergonomically shaped to the hand.

 The hammer pattern on both sides of the blade is the result of hot forging by 300 tons of a flection machine which makes the steel stronger and the hammer design shiny. The uneven hammer design prevents food from sticking to the blade. Kasumi Hammered knives all feature try ply blades with an inner core of VG-10 steel sandwiched between two layers of 410 (18/10) stainless steel. the blades are ultra sharp and feature the same quality of cutting edge as the other Kasumi knife ranges with the blades hardened to 60 HRC.
