While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

No contract for the sale of any product will subsist between you and Knives from Japan.co.uk until Knives from Japan.co.uk dispatches the product(s) ordered.

You agree that e-mail can be used as a long-distance means of communication.

Knives from Japan.co.uk will not pass on your personal or credit or debit card details to any third party except where an additional security check may be deemed necessary.

We shall be entitled to process your data in accordance with the terms of our Privacy Policy. See below.

You undertake that all details you provide to Knives from Japan.co.uk for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods or services are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods or services ordered.

If there are any changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform Knives from Japan.co.uk as soon as possible.

Returns

Our aim is to provide you with a service and range of products that you are happy with and that you enjoy using. In the unlikely event of any dissatisfaction or fault with the items you have purchased from this website and you would like to return them to us, please follow these instructions:

If you decide within 14 days of purchase that the item is unsuitable, you may return it to us for exchange or credit, providing that both the product and packaging are unused and in complete, saleable condition.

You will pay for the cost of posting unsuitable items back to us. If we exchange the items, we will dispatch the replacement free of charge.

If you find the item to be faulty, please return it to us as soon as possible. If we agree that the item is faulty, we will exchange it or offer you a refund, on both the item and your postage costs. If we find the problem to be as a result of misuse, we will contact you to discuss the situation.

Cancellations

If you would like to cancel your order, please contact our Sales Office on 0845 6020987, within 7 working days of placing your order. If payment has already been taken, we will organise for you to be credited for the full amount.

If your item has already been dispatched, please return it to us within 7 working days, ensuring that both the product and packaging are unused and in complete, saleable condition. We will then organise for you to be credited for the full cost of the item, but you will pay for the initial delivery and subsequent return of the item.

Knives from Japan.co.uk reserves the right to make a 15% restocking charge for any goods which are not returned in mint condition or to refuse to accept such goods, at its sole discretion. Knives from Japan.co.uk also reserves the right to make a charge for collecting goods from your premises in circumstances where they are not defective but you have cancelled your order. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Credit Card Security

They are not held in clear text on any web site or server. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. We do not store your credit card details on computer once the order has been despatched.
